I am thinking about joining a notary association. I was wondering if I should join the NNA or the American Society of Notaries? Anyone have any good feddback?

American Society of Notaries!! They are based in Florida. They have an excellent Help Line.

The NNA is NOT familiar with Florida Notary laws, in their handbook they state that we can charge $10 per signature, and some notaries are believing that and are in violation of Florida notary laws, where it is clear we can only charge $10 per notary act (per seal). Calling the NNA, the notary was told it is $10 per signature. They clearly do not know Florida notary laws. I used to be a member, and was given misinformation more than once.

I recommend the American Society of Notaries!
