Realistically
Hello group. I'm in the process of doing what's necessary to become a signing agent. I'm curious about how many signings I can realistically expect to get a week once listed with Notary Rotary, NNA, 123 and the Signing Registry. I'm located in central NJ. I've been unemployed since October and REALLY, REALLY need to start making an income. Any thoughts? Thanks in advance for all replies.

Scroll down a few pages to the thread on "Full time Notary work", and read my comments about breaking in. Just registering on sites is not nearly enough; you have to market yourself continuously to the hundreds of companies out there. Listings are available here, on GoMobileNotary, and 50statenotary.com for starters. It will take a good bit of time to get yourself established, and the checks will be sporadic at first, but be patient. Good luck!

Thanks Roger! When you say "market yourself continuously to the hundreds of companies out there", do you mean like going through the Yellow Pages and sending mailings(marketing materials) to these companies? By the way, the "Full Time Notary Work" thread is very informative.

Start by marketing yourself to the companies you'll find listed on this site, as well as GoMobileNotary.com and 50statenotary.com
Keep reading this and the GMN board for info on companies old and new, good and bad.
