I am new at this & was wondering if some of you had any suggestions for good bondign companies, & what amount I need. Any help would be incredibly appreciated. Thank you

Minimum for Ca is 15,000. However, you need to check with the Secratary of State office, who issues your commission. We have notarys here that carry more. This only protects the public against mistakes you make. It does not protect you personally. You can still be held liable. We purchase any where from minimum $15,000 and some carry $100,000, for Errors and Omissions insurance. Its up to you. Again your Commission office can better guide you for your state and also recommend some companys. Hope this helps.......

Your state may have a required minimum, call your Secretary of State to find out but you (if it was req'd) would have had to have had the bond prior to getting your seal. Also your Secretary of States office can maybe refer you to a good bonding company.
