Not even "new" yet
I've noticed a lot of posts by people saying they are new signing agents and are looking for advice. I just passed my California notary test a couple of weeks ago and am currently in that limbo called "BACKGROUND CHECK" so I can't even claim to be a green novice yet. I know I will have to wait at least 8 to 10 weeks but I am biting at the bit. I am a recent retiree and I have a passion to become a certified signing agent. I am reading everything I can get my hands on including "Mortgages For Dummies", reading discussion forums like this one, and have talked extensively with a very capable signing agent in my area. Is there anything else I could be doing while in limbo?
