To fax cheaply & phone cheaply.
I bought a 600 minute fax card at Sam's club, about $.03 per minute. My fax machine is programmable, so 01 is the 800 number. 02 is the code number on the card, it takes only a few seconds to hit each, then i punch in the fax number and hit send. I can add more minutes with a credit card if I run low.
My fax will also scan and store many pages. I often scan the pages into the machines memory while I am updating my records etc. Then when the fax will go straight from memory to the other machine and I do not have to worry about pages jamming or anything.
I also use the card when calling from home as it is cheaper than my cellphone and it saves me cell minutes.
