Web-based fax service - Sylvia...
I read and checked out maxemail.com... I want to be sure I completely understand this service. I have a fax, but I'm not sure how it would handle printing out 80 - 100 pages in a timely manner; if I understand this web-based fax service, does it work like this:
1. A company sends a fax (loan docs) to the fax #...I retrieve it from maxemail.com & print from my Hp Laser printer? If that is how it works, I am impressed.
2. It appears that I can assign a # to this fax service.
Do I have it right? or am I missing something?
Thank you Stephanie

Yes, company sends a fax to the fax number. Maxemail will forward it to your e-mail address in whatever format you have selected to receive the faxes (pdf or tiff - I like the pdf). So, you just print out the fax from your e-mail.
I have only ever had one company fax me the loan docs! Edocs usually come to your e-mail address. But I get the signing confirmations and the HUD and title junk docs to my fax number.
Nice thing is, this saves on cartridges for your fax machine. As they come to your e-mal box you don't have to babysit the fax machine. Yes, you can pick your area code, I have my own area code as the area code for my maxemal fax.
Get the maxemail plus!
Oh - and voice mail can be left on the number as well as receiving faxes.
