A Different Kind of Printing Problem

Took an Edoc signing today as probably every loan signer in the country did! First I have 2 HP Printers (don't ask).
I started printing the docs and left the room and when I returned I saw my printer had run out of toner, so I threw out those docs. I shook the toner cartridges and started over and this one also went dry. This time I printed only 5 pages to check the quality.

I'm sick of this printer so I hook up the other printer and and stupidly left the room and came back and this printer had also run out of toner and now I have 2 completely worthless set of docs. I am p_ _ _ed!

I get a new toner cartridge but this time I am not leaving the office until at least one set prints correctly and then it happens again this toner is empty and then finally a big light bulb goes off in my head that its the documents that are bad!

I scrolled down the docs and sure enough after the 3rd page of the loan docs the printer who had originally printed the docs had run out of toner and had gotten scanned in this condition.

I fished the 2 printed sets out of the trash, put the 1st toner cartridge back in the first printer and attached a post-em note that 2nd cartridge is "good."
I called the company that hired me and they said go do the signing. I think I will be going back as the Deed of Trust probably won't record.

I've done approx. 450 edocs and this has never happened before; have I just been lucky?
