Ameriquest at it again!!!!!!!
New directive from Ameriquest says that if you don't have $100.000 E&O Coverage you don't sign there documents.

From Ameriquest Corp offices. Only problem I can see is that some states you are not able to get that much E&O insurance.

Yes Jarrod I am a signing service and yes they are saying that I need $1.000.000 E&O insurance coverage. If you like you can call me and we can discuss the ramifications this is going to have on notaries and SS companies. I think I worked for your SS before I started my own SS Jarrod.

Ameriquest E&O VERY FUNNY ...
Some in-house idiot at it again. Guess Ameriquest is trying to be the Notary's best friend.
I would think Ameriquest would be asking for a bond, since that protects the Public and higher bonding amounts are easier to get than higher E&O. E&O coverage is more for the protection of the Notary, although it will also pay out in the event of a valid claim.
I bet the Ameriquest non-attorney staff person that came up with this brilliant idea doesn't realize the E&O and bond coverage for Notaries Public only covers the notarization block. Connecticut doesn't require E&O or a bond for Notaries.
You won't see me trying to obtain $100,000 coverage just to get an Ameriquest signing - unless Ameriquest is GREATLY increasing its signing agent fee to cover the expense.

Re: I have a $100,000
I bought $100,000 E & O last year and it was approx. $456.00 (4 years) from the NNA.
