I'm confused!!!!
Is Veteran's Day a National Holiday???? I'm getting conflicting answers. Some say yes...some say no. What's the consensus on this board?????

It is indeed a Federal Holiday. No US Mail, and banks are closed. Thank a vet.

Consensus of opinions may not always be correct. You need "authoritative" information in this work.
For Federal Holidays, see http://www.opm.gov/fedhol/index.asp
And remember that the "observed" holiday (before or after Jan 1, July 4, Nov 11 and Dec 25) are NOT holidays for RTC purposes. (Do a search on this subject for the actual clarification of the law.)

I'm signing at a local title company, altho banks and feds are closed, most state and county agencies as well
