Just Starting
I have recently become a Notary Public, L. A. area, Calif. I would like to order business cards and create flyers to start advertising as a Mobile Notary, but I have no clue what to put on the business card. I now have an account with the National Notary Assos. Would it be appropriate to have my Commission number on the business card? Can you please tell me what the business card should say? I'm very open to having a Mentor, who lives in the L.A./San Bernadino Area, if anyone is interested. Any information would be greatly appreciated. All advice is definately appreciated. I am not in CA, but I would start by advertising on line. Like on this site, 123notary.com...etc. Then I would find a list of companies (on this website or others) and start locating their phone #'s or websites. Then follow their instructions to sign up with them. I did this with about 140 companies - I stay very very busy. I never passed out a flyer or made business cards.

My initial investment for advertising was close to $200 and it was worth it. I bet I made that up in the first few days.

Ok,, I will definately look into this all. Do you also have a web page to help out with your advertising?? A gal at work advised that she would help me create one.
