My first loan signing

Yey! I just completed my very first signing, I was soooo nervous when I went in because HFC had the documents and I just got a few minutes to read thru. I did a great job and am glad that IREP called me...an hour before the closing - talk about wrecked nerves. This is all while my 2 yr old was running around and turning up the tv as loud as she could.....whew thanks to the company list here where I applied to IREP the other day

Great Job Charm_1 feels Good when you walk away knowing everything went Great!
When you signed up with them (IREP )did you sign up under vendor? I have tried and the closest I could come to what I am is in thier pull down file was a closer but I'm not, or is this what they call a loan Signing Agent?

Integrated Real Estate Processing - I found them on this sites company list, I just have to remember how I got involved with them..I copy and paste the company name into my search brower (that have a good rating) ...then I look around trying to sign on with them.

IREP works very closely with Household Finance and Benefical, two companies that merged several years ago (I guess). There was a very extensive consent decree entered into in 2002 between the attorneys general of various states and Household Finance and Beneficial relative to charges of predatory lending. As a result Household Finance and Beneficial are totally out of the loop as far as signings/closings go. They contracted with IREP and IREP subcontracts with nsa's. The signings are done in HFC's/Beneficials offices, but no one connected with those organizations is present during the signings.

If you wish to look into this in more depth, there are extensive posts either here or on gomobile notary, probably under IREP or Household Finance that discuss this issue.
