To All New Signing Agents...
I am new as a Signing Agent also - but not new to this industry. I have been a Realtor for 10 years and worked at a bank and title company - closing loans, before that. I know you all have tons and tons of questions....I have spent most of the weekend reading the threads in this discussion forum. So far, I have answered all my questions and the questions I didn't even know I had, many times over! If, for no other reason, than to familarize yourself with low-paying companies, fee schedule ideas, how this forum works...or just to see how many times the same questions come up, do a search from the beginning on this forum and start reading....and read, and read, and read. You will be able to absorb so much information from the veteran signing agents and you will also learn their styles. You gotta love Hugh and Dennis, love to hear from BrendaTX and many, many others. Many of the vets has asked that you read the forums before you put the questions out there.....as a new signing agent, I am saying they know what they are talking about!! (and I am only up to message #4806!) Thanks to all the vets for being so willing to share your knowledge!

Dearest Robin:
I am making a copy of this to include in all my Christmas cards. Perhaps, every birthday card I send out this year, in addition.
I have taken a picture of it with my digital camera and will be sending it to my sons and their wives, plus my single son, as well--and his intended. A poster size blow up (suitable for framing) will be ordered for all the aforementioned as their primary Christmas gift.
Hugh and Dennis, should I ship you guys one, as well?

I'd be glad to autograph them if you'd like....just to authenticate them, of course...LOL. You are truly a fountain of information, Brenda, and so quick to help out the newbies - even though the same question has been asked over, and over, and over......

Brenda/TX asks:
***Hugh and Dennis, should I ship you guys one, as well?***
Ship me Dennis instead. I get goosebumps thinking of a confrontation vis-a-vis.

Robin,
Excellent advice. You have probably a unique perspective as an "experienced newbie" (I know that sounds like an oxymoron, a contradiction in terms). I would suggest you save the post and then repost it say like once a month.

I'll do that, Ted....from what I've read, about once a month would be appropriate.

I would imagine that there is an intermittent stream of new signing agents accessing this site over the course of time, so I am glad that you think it is a good idea.
