BEWARE of Absolute Solutions & Chris Warren

I understand that a good # of you all have not been paid. Before I say anymore, I once was the person in charge of cutting checks. I also know that CHRIS WARREN of ABSOLUTE SOLUTIONS has been telling everyone he fired me. This is not true! I had Quit some time ago. I can only image what he is telling people and I know the kind of lies he is know to tell, like the check is in the mail. I could no longer work for someone who just didn’t seem to care when the notaries were paid. I myself was allowed to print my check, but was told I could not cash it, until Chris called and said it was okay. At this time he owes me a very large sum of money, which he is refusing to pay me. I did the best job possible. Those of you who know him, understand what I am speaking of and it just makes me regret not leaving sooner. He does not pay and if he does, it’s not on time so don’t be like me and let yourself get too deep in with him.

Yep, that's the story he told me. He had to fire is bookkeeper so he was behind in paying notaries. Well, at least that was the story the first time I called for two past due invoices. I will never work for him again. I did finally receive payment 60 days after the signing date and after making three phone calls to collect. Shame on you, Chris!

Possible solution for Jeannie

Unlike as with independent contractors, (most NSA arrangements) , in many states it is a criminal act not to pay an employee money earned by that employee. You might want to check with local authorites as to this issue.

Jeannie - look in the Blue pages of your phone book for a local phone number for the State Labor & Employment Security Office. Bob is right, you should be able to file a complaint. Do it quickly, before he files for bk protection.

Filing for BK Absolute Solutions

I am posting this for everyone. I worked as a paralegal and in fact took two years of schooling. Chris has what is referred to as "piercing the Corporate Vail." He is not a corporation and if he tries to file he will have to do so as an individual. I am going to contact all his clients that I did the closings for and inform them that I will be filing RESPA complaints if payment is not received. I am sure that he will be call me soon. This is what other business owners have informed me to do.

This is the second Florida-based signing agency I have read about in the past month that is not paying their closing agents, and/or going out of business and not paying their closing agents.

As a pays-on-time Florida-based signing agency, it disturbs me terribly, because I feel that the actions of even just a few can cast a dim shadow on the ones properly managing their signing companies. Trust between employer and employee is very important, and doing business without it is virtually impossible.

I too have been burned by some clients not paying me, but I have never let this interfere with paying my subcontractors. They are the front line to my business and hands-down the most important ingredient of running this business. If you are not being paid by one of your clients, either take it to small claims court, or hire a commercial collections agency to see if that will help.

It pays to do the research on who you wish to do business with. Otherwise, you may be losing money instead of making it.

Thank you for being a person of integrity.

It might be a good idea to post with your business name so we know who you are. There are some outstanding signing services here in Florida and I'm proud to represent them.

I love the points you made. Everything you said is 100% true. I wish you the best of luck and maybel you would be kind enough to let us know who you are. It is hard to know who we can trust. He had alwasy promise to pay me. Once he learned that I would no longer do closing for him, I am not going to get paid as it turns out.
