Just call Tony or Chantelle...they are easy to talk to. How long has it been since the signing? They are very good and keep on top of things. A call would make the difference.

"A call would make the difference"

I think this is something that everybody in here would be wise to remember. Most late payments can be resolved by a simple phone call. At least give it a try before posting about a companies non-payment issues on this board.

L/Ca - Update Us...

Hey, L/Ca -

Be sure to give us an update - my money is on Tony and/or Chantelle clearing this up.

Very good company to work for.

I 'd like to give a GOOD reference for Negrete's Notary Service. They gave me two assignments in September, which were both for the same borrower. The lender (belive it or not) had canceled the first loan and offered to replace it with a second loan, so I drove the 60 minutes round-trip two different times. The second time, the borrower canceled the signing, because they weren't satisfied with the loan terms.

I waited patiently for my payment for these two assignments, but nothing came. So finally, I faxed my invoice a second time and also sent a friendly reminder by email. The very next day, Tony Negrete called me and apologized for the late payment. He explained to me why a lender would cancel a loan and that it's not all that unusual. The lenders, evidently, can become concerned about the borrower's credit history and they can change their mind within the 3 day recission period, too.

Anyway, the very next day, Tony put my check in the mail and it arrived just when he said it would. I really appreciate this good service, because Tony told me the lender hadn't paid him yet, either, but said that was not my problem and I deserved to get paid for the work I had done. Tony was very concerned that he could get a bad reputation on this message board. He wants to keep is good name in this industry. I appreciate someone like that and I hope he calls me again for more assignments.

Tony was slated to be canonized in the latest batch of prospective saints, but was too busy writing checks to signing agents to finish the application. There is a rumor he will be nominated for the Nobel Peace Prize for his work in building bridges between signing companies and signing agents.

I almost never leave messages, however, I would drop all of my other clients and work directly for Negretes Notary Service if I could. TOP NOTCH. NEVER A PROBLEM. He should look into doing consulting work for title company closing departments. Eventually the title companies would wind up with a network of the best and brightest notaries and the notaries would be paid in a timely manner. Tony Negrete is one of the few people I would do almost anything for...and he always is appreciative of the little things. Steve in NY

The one time I dealt with them, I had to make one phone call regarding payment but within a couple of days, I received payment. I didn't really have any problems with them.

Mr. Negrete,

Does your company do much work in the Portland, Oregon area ??
and if so are you in need of, or looking for notaries in that area?

Thanks for your time,

Although I've only done a few signings with Tony & Chantelle, they have been a pleasure to work with. I was having problems with my printer and computer, had an E-Doc signing with them, and they both were very patient and very helpful. I've not had to call them for payment and have received payments in a very timely manner. I hope that I can continue to do work for them. SS's such as their's are getting to be a rarity.

P.S. Tony if you read this, I did fix my printer for dual tray. Thanks!!!!!

Tina Marie
