Notary America
Has Notary America gone out of business? I called and cannot get anyone! I sent a notice regarding payment and someone signed for it! Are they ignoring us notaries?

No, they haven't gone out of business, just the opposite, they are a rogue organization who just suckered you in to do a closing. Any exerienced Notary knows that they do not pay for services rendered. If they do pay it will be with a RUBBER CHECK...It will bounce and your bank will charge you $5 or $10 for the bounced check. I am one of the lucky ones, I am owed for 4 closings for a total of $290 there are others out there that is owed more than $1000. Just consider yourself lucky. You did one closing and only got BURNED for 1. Don't hold your breath for a payment any time soon.

Has anyone considered filing a small claim in the courts? Can it be done?

Great company! Pays earlier than most. Joey is very nice.

I can't help but notice that only 2 people (maybe aka the same person) thinks that this company pays "earlier than most". Why would you wait a year or a lifetime to get paid and think that is earlier than most?

NOTARY AMERICA STINKS! I do not know why my post...
shows here showing they are good....THEY ARE NOT! I would never endorse this company....I have never worked for them, but They are well-known to have bad reputation. I meant to post for D&T. I do not know why my post showed here instead. My apologies to everyone.

We are going to file in small claims and also notify the State of Illinois Financial Department. They paid 2 to 3 months late but now they owe me $2,300

Rita, I'm not asking this in mean spirits, but why would you continue doing signings for a company that wasn't/isn't paying, and let them rack up outstanding signings totaling $2,300? A couple hundred dollars is the max I'm willing to extend to a company and after that I tell them I won't do additional signings until I'm paid.

Rita, Rita, Rita How could you get up to $2,300.00????? You obviously do not need the money... They are still operating because notaries such as yourself permit them to. Please take no offense but think about it. If they can still get notaries to do work for them they'll sucker us notaries forever........
