The moon is not full, but

it sure as heck feels like it is. I have called three borrowers today for Monday signings. The first thing out of each of them was "When do I get my check?" After explaining that I am only an independent notary who is only going to witness their signing and then notarizing the docs, that I know nothing about their loans, and that they will need to contact their loan officer re check(s) or *specific* questions about the loan itself, they are only appeased slightly. The third signing call I just made, I needed to check their availability, because there is no set time for the signing, which once I set it, will determine if the docs will be overnighted to me or e-mailed. They wanted to come to "me" and I explained why I "go" to "them." They don't want me in their house (although they wanted me to let them in my house), so we are meeting at Denny's.

Meeting at Denny's was a smart move.
