Venue Question
I was called and agreed to do a signing that was about 50 miles away in county "X", the borrowers agreed to meet me at their realtor's office to reduce travel time. The realtors office is in county "Y".
which is the correct venue for notarizations, "X" or "Y"?
Some of the docs were preprinted with county "X" which is where the home is that is being purchased.
Thanks for your help.

It's county Y. Just line it out, correct it and initial it on the documents that are preprinted.

Curious as to why you would have the borrowers initial YOUR certificate? Not that it will make any difference, just that the certificate falls entirely within the notary's province and therefore the notary has sole responsibility for its content and accuracy.
