Certificate and stamp

I 'm doing a signing for a nationwide co, Mortgagedocs.com and they have requested that I sign an agreement for them. Ok I could do that but they are also asking that I send them a notary certificate with my stamp on it crossed out . Is this the usual drill?
Unfortunately, I have no blanks duh I know not good! Does anyone know where I can get them for cheap as NNA wants $8.00 for them. Is there anyway to get that downloaded or off the net so that I could send them this info and get paid soon. Help you know I am newbie and desperate.

Just send them a copy of your notary commission certificate, they don't need a copy of your stamp. I have signed up with many services, including mortgagedocs.com, and they all have seem satisfied with just a copy of my commission.

Hi KJ! I signed up with 2 signing companies in August who requested I send them copies of my notary commission and stamp. I did that. Was that wrong? If so, of course, I won't do that again. Please advise. Thanx.

Sending them a copy of your stamp, even with a line through it, is against the law in CA(Government Code 8207). As far as a blank acknowledgement, make your own. I know of no law that states you must use an acknowledgement that someone else prepared.

Jon is right, send a copy of the certificate, not a copy of your stamp.
