Corrections

It seems I am frequently finding errors on documents before I go to the signing. For example names spelled wrong/incorrect addresses etc. To this point I have always called and had the documents corrected before I kept the appointment. This is getting expensive for me! I think I should be paid for the extra printing of docs I'm doing. Would it be smarter to keep the appt and wait to be sent out a second time with correct docs? Am I the only one finding so many errors??

I am there to do one thing. Execute the documents. Period. HELLO HELLO

Check with your instructions, but in many cases you can just line thru the errors, correct them, and have the borrowers initial them. They can be corrected later by the lender (that's what the limited power of attorney or document correction form is for). Let them do it; don't waste YOUR time and supplies on new docs.

You must be the only one looking for mistakes. That Is Not You Responsibility! Jus take the docs and have them signed. That is what a correction agreement is made for and if mistake is that bad is is the lenders or title companies mistake and they will send you out to do it again. Stop trying to make unpaid work for yourself.
