E Mobile Notary
Oh, no! I just did an assignment for them. I just saw them on Hugh's list of companies to avoid. I accepted only because I saw they had a pretty good rating on the Company List.
Can you give me a heads up as to what to expect? Do they pay slow?
TIA

The complaint on this forum and at least one other is that they are actually abusive to notaries and show not a modicum of respect. I would not work for them regardless of the pay. And you need to be aware that they do monitor the notary lists.

Their policy is you will get paid, if and when they get paid by the lender/title company. 4 years ago I did a signing for them where it took them 9 months to pay me my $60 fee. When I called about it, Tom was abusive! He told me that obviously I was new otherwise I would know that the notaries only get paid if and when they get paid, and that that was SOP!
That was the last one I did for them. I refused to do any more.
You may be lucky and get paid for the signing you are doing for them, then again........ I would rather gamble at the casinos - at least that could be more fun!

While I do not dispute the history of any of those posting, I have done more recent signings for eMobileNotary and my experience was good. The checks come in two weeks. Normally, I say little about the folks I work for, however, for those scratching for assignments, this might help, and it could be that this company has revised its methods.

same here, once was enough for me and that was back when they were still in CA. Tom was the rudest 'professional' I have ever dealt with. since Door toDoor is gone, this would be my #1 company to have run out of business, due to my one experience with them. and, we don't see Renee here defending herself any longer - wonder if it has anything to do with the notary winning the judgment against them for nonpayment resulting fromtheir little 'FBI excuse'
