Mimi,
From my post below which may have gotten lost in the numerous requests...

I think I started something that's turning into a chore for you. A solution might be to upload the document to a server and supply a link where people can go to download it. If you do not have this capability, send it to me and I will do it and supply the link for people to access.

Hello, If anyone wants to pay for the THE SIGNING AGENT SURVIVAL GUIDE
by
Kristin J. Lieb, they can goto http://www.mobilenotaryassociation.com/ and order it from the author herself. Purchase this extensive training guide for only $45 plus $10 priority shipping. Remember, your purchase gets you a lifetime membership to the Mobile Notary Association. I think when MIMI-NJ was talking about this in one of her post she meant a specific page on the notary section in the guide. I don't think she meant the whole guide is what she would send, but I could be wrong. If she indeed was talking about sending us the whole guide I would love to have a copy sent to me also to [e-mail address]

Just a small teeny-tiny itsy-bitsy way small miniscule word of caution: It is a violation of copyright to copy and distribute copyrighted works. That's what all the problem over music downloads from the Internet has been about. Not only is the one who copies the work for distribution liable, but also the person who gets the bootlegged copy. MiMi-NJ might want to consider that, and so should all of you who are requesting copies.

Put it in this perspective: You're the author, and you spent a considerable amount of time researching, drafting and writing your book. Then someone buys a copy, copies it repeatedly, and hands it out free to people who are potential purchasers. That's what copyright law is all about; that's what it is designed to eliminate. And, as a recent poster noted, the book IS available to buy on the Internet. Let's hope the author never reads this forum.

Hello,

I am so sorry but Hugh is correct....there are copyright laws against reproducing the book. I was so caught up with wanting to help I didn't think about it. The website to order the book is: http://www.mobilenotaryassociation.com. The cost is appx. $45. Again, I am sorry for offering something that isn't mine to give.

Mimi

Re: Hi MiMi-NJ - Thank you, I understand...

Thank you Hugh for bringing out the copyright issue, and for Mimi for abiding by it. I never thought of this as a book, but as a document of some sort.

Re: Hi MiMi-NJ - Thank you, I understand...

I understand MiMi, don't feel bad. It was an act of kindness on your part, just trying to be helpful. Like you, everyone is trying to help each other out in this mess we all got ourselves in :Smiley)). But it appears to be an honorable profession, and I am going to stick it out.

thanks again, be well.
