ServiceLink Dynamic Docs

Has anyone had any experience with the ServiceLink recently reducing their fees with Dynamic Docs? I accepted a signing from them last week, but was told that they can now only pay a max $65 signing fee, plus $15 for the Dynamic Docs (edocs). I thought the $15 fee was unreasonable and voiced my opinion to SL. In the past they have paid me $25 (edocs), plus $20 for copies, since they require dual packages overnighted back to SL and the lender.

I use to get $75 plus $25 for email docs for Service Link. They almost always overnighted them to me, they did not want to pay that additional fee. I will not do any closings for them now, not for that price. I am not going to move on this one. Others can do it if they want to, they are only hurting the rest of us.

The neophytes who accept such unconsciounably low fees as those foisted off on us by ServiceLink in order to get experience are going to find, when they get the experience, that they have paid dearly for it, because then they are going to be confronted with the onerous task of earning a living from the low fees they have helped perpetuate.

I'm going to just continue what I've always done with Service Link. I quote them my fee, they can accept it or not. Just because they've lowered their fees doesn't mean that I've lowered mine.

I definitely will be sure to tell them that I won't accept $15 for edocs, and I hope everybody else does as well. Ultimately though, I don't care how they break it down on their end, I will just give them my full fee for the signing plus email docs. If they want to consider $15 of it email does and the rest the signing fee that's fine with me as long as I get paid all of it.

I let them tell me what they can pay. Based on what is already scheduled and where the signing is I decide whether or not it is worth it. It seems they are trying to overnight most docs now instead of email. The only e-docs I get from them are full spectrum docs, and for those I still get the $25. Like CaliNotary stated, my fee for e-docs + the signinging is set and will not change; if they want to juggle the numbers so it looks like they are only paying 15 for the docs, so be it, but my bottom line does not change.
