A Great Idea for marketing, but ...

... how can I find 'em?

Post 683 (use the "Search" button at the top of the Forum Page) mentions an oversize postcard with a punch-out Rolodex card. Super idea! The post mentions that they are available from GallopingNotary.Com (maybe WWW.GallopingNotary.Com?). That is the only post on this Forum that shows up when I searched for "galloping". A search for "postcard" and "postcards" wasn't especially helpful, either.

GallopingNotary.Com has a graphic link on the Signing Registry (WWW.SigningRegistry.Info) Career Resource Center Page, but clicking on the link results in a 404, "Not found", error.

Both a Google and a Yahoo! search turn up Pages that don't exist, except for http://gallery.bcentral.com/GID4969061DD265543-Over-Sized-Postcard.aspx and http://gallery.bcentral.com/GID4969061DD265413-Rolodex-Card.aspx, which seem to be exactly what I'd like.

Neither the Postcard Page nor Rolodex Page have any images (Galloping Notary is probably thinking they'd be ripped off [andd they're probably right] if they had full-size images).

Can anyone point me in the right direction? Thanks in advance!

I believe the GallopingNotary.com site went out of business.

Paul would know for sure

GallopingNotary DID go out of business.

Their prices were high, so don't cry too much.

I haven't seen the postcards you described anywhere. Sorry!

I do all my marketing material thru Vista Print. I usually design my own and then upload it. They are very reasonable price wise. Unfortunately i did not see rolodex options. i did a search on google for postcards rolodex punchouts and came up with quite a few sites. Prices seem awfully high. I find that magnets or magnetic calendars, and pens seem to be a real hit with people. Cheaper too :-)

Thanks, all who have replied so far!

Any other thoughts / opinions are welcome!

I'll keep people posted ... oops ... appraised ... oops ... informed of what I find.

Maybe, maybe not

Ernest,

I can say I do not know anyone who uses a roldex anymore - lawyers, title companies, lenders, trust companies.

Everyone I deal with, including clients, has a Palm or computerized "contacts" list.

Post card will save mailing cost, but consider just having the information printed on it or going for one of those Email adress books (sorry, I can't remember the name) where you can Email your business card to someone and, if they decide to keep it, they just download it into their contacts list.

I get these from a number of clients who have winter/summer addresses and LOVE it. It's an automatic spam type "notice of address change and update listing" Email.

Too lazy to do it myself.

Re: Maybe, maybe not

I sent the roledex cards out in my marketing campaign and I got a lot of calls. And yes there are alot of people that still have a roledex and they loved my card I sent. Not every business or employee who hires notaries buys there employees and palm pilot.
