All Around Signings update

This is a followup to a thread earlier in the week.

I still haven't received payment from John at All Around signings. The last contact I got was an email Friday morning that said he would be in the office in the afternoon and let me know what was going on with the check. The day before he had offered to sent it to me via Fed Ex. Needless to say, I'll be shocked if I actually get a Fed Ex package on Monday. He didn't return my follow up email, and I just called and left him a voice message.

I did speak to him earlier in the week and told him that I absolutely didn't believe that he was at a funeral when he returned my email, since he was posting on this board less than a half hour later. He told me that he was at a funeral and had accessed the internet through a Palm Pilot he had borrowed from somebody. He also said that he understood why I didn't believe him, that he was sorry that it was taking so long, blah blah blah blah.

The only thing I ever get from him is that he'll check what's going on when he gets into the office. Then he won't follow up, I'll contact him again, he'll tell me that he'll check what's going on when he gets into the office.

On Monday I'll be contacting the title companies for the signings I did for him. I have absolutely no patience left for this guy and am really sick of hearing all his bullshit every time I talk to him.

I cannot believe a person taps out a message from a funeral. CRAZY. That sounds like a person with a terrible addiction.

Tell me...even as important as is the Great CaliNotary...what person in his right mind checks his voicemails from a FUNERAL and then rushes to the nearest webby Pocket PC/Palm owner to post / email, etc.?

I am sorry, but about the only thing I'd be that rude to the deceased and family for would be an emergency regarding my own offspring. Nope...not buying it.

Thank you. Not only was it any old funeral, but it was his GRANDPA'S funeral. I'm really supposed to believe that he would email me AND post on the notary rotary message board (I mentioned in his voicemail that I'd seen messages on the notary board showing I'm not the only one having problems collecting from him) just because I left yet another message about payment? Like that really couldn't wait a few hours. Uh huh.

When I spoke to him the day after the "funeral" he told me that he couldn't do anything that day because he had to go to the service that night. Now correct me if I'm wrong, but isn't the service usually held BEFORE the funeral?

It's just lie after lie after lie with this guy.
