Has anyone done work for CNI Signing (California Notary Inc.)? I tried to search and could't find anything. Thanks in advance!

I did a sign and a re-sign in March through them. I have not worked for them before, but they were helpful during the process. It was the end of March so I don't expet pay yet. I know the borrower canceled the first loan and we re-signed. I expect full payment for both.

I've done two for them. They met my fee both times and did not have any problems with getting paid, actually both times within 2 weeks of signing.

Thanks for the info - I did a signing for them in February and was cancelled at the table - They haven't paid the cancel fee yet - they told me because they moved into a new office and their system was down.

The agreement (at http://WWW.CaliforniaNotaryInc.Com) says they're a $50 company, $75 for edocs.

Oh, did I mention
"No Show: $20"

"Client refuses to sign documents or documents are incorrect: Half of the negotiated fee"

"Payment to Notary will be made within 30 to 45 days after signing is completed. [...] California Notary, Inc. reserves the right to modify or change [sic] when payments to Notary are to be made."

Draw your own conclusions about signing with them.
