Certified True Copies of Note---need help

Please help I have a signing and the ask for a Certified True Copies of the Note and Mortgage/Deed. I did a search and could not find the answer.

It's my understanding only attorneys can certify true copies of the Note. That's the way it is in New Jersey. I received a closing package for a FL property (borrower is in San Diego) and the closing instructions asked for 2 certified true copies of the Note back. I called the SS and inquired about it and they said it only pertains to attorneys, not notaries.

Thanks, MaggieMae for the help I call the ss and they said not to worry about the Certified True Copies the attorneys at the title company would take care of that. Again Thank You.
