Confirmation question
SS always have confirmed by e-mail but I have signed for a few financial intuitions and when I ask about a confirmation they act as thou they have never been asked to do this. Whats up with that and should I tell them I need one in order to do the work? of course ss always do but I don't want to lose the very good paying ones because of this . Do you get confirmations from Title,Banks Etc

If I don't get a confirmation, I don't take the job. Good example for getting one - my sister is also a signing agent. She took an assignment yesterday and the confirmation stated the fee was $90.00. When it was over, she was sent an e-mail that her fee would be $75.00. She called the company and they told her if she would fax them the confirmation, they would adjust their records and pay her accordingly.

I always ask if they would mind sending me a confirmation with all the details in it, including the agreed on fee for my records. Never had anyone object yet.
Now, I do get some confirmations without the agreed on fee on it, but they are companies I work with a lot and will pay my invoice.
