DOT

I have docs with the DOT dated April 15th this is April 19.Is this ok? I thought it had to be signed and notarized the same date as on the doc,of course it would not be the first time I was incorrect in life.
Thanks

The documents can be dated the day of or days prior to the signing. Your acknowledgements/jurats need to be dated the actual day the docs are signed. Hope this helps.

Thank You Maggie I realize the ack has to be the date but I was not sure of the docs. Thanks for responding.

Yes, DOT dated prior, but never after the signing date.

I prefer that the date of the docs and the actual day of signing are one and the same, but we don't live in a perfect world. Smiley
