Why are e-docs always such a pain in the gazeebenflatz? I just spent 4 hours getting docs, then corrections, then title docs, then HUD 1, then corrected HUD 1....just got the better half out the door for what was supposed to be a 4:30 appointment....sorry...had to vent !!

You should have a agreement at time of scheduling that edocs need to arrive by XX - if not, you will not be able to complete the signing.
If you just venting.... well, not much we can do.... its a part of the business

The drop dead, last minute time agreed upon was 1:30 pm....since it was the only deal for the day, we couldn't afford to pass. Darned creditors want their payment every month from us !

Yeah, a DSL or cable connection is great, but it doesn't make the mortgage or title company's get the docs out any faster. AND THAT'S THE PROBLEM!
It's a bear trying to walk a fine line between a SS or TC that give's you alot of business but keep you tied up for hours waiting for the doc's. At what point and time do you say screw it, give the signing to another agent because it is now hindering my other signing's? Much easier to do when you have other signings for the day. A bear when you don't but are fed up with being lied to and being kept on hold!
This can drive you nuts! I hate to cancel a signing when it's with a company I do alot of business with but some times you just don't have a choice. In my experience they aren't happy to have to find anothe SA but they understand.
