I have a Fannie Mae Affidavit & Agreement which states at the top Before me, (my name), a Notary Public and and for _____________ personally appeared, (borrowers name) What do I put in the blank?

Reread the question, "...before me..." requires the notary's name in the blank and "...personally appeared..." requires the signer's name!

I think it should be County and State listed there too, but I wasn't sure. What threw me off is that the County and State is listed above the "before me, etc". Why do they make things so complicated???

I which they would all use standard forms by State requirements. It can get very confusing and we have to first find out what they are after and then if it is legal for us to notarize it.

I apologize if I misread the question. Should it be "...in and for...?" If so, then fill in your county and state or at least the state.
