Is it important when selecting a laser printer for it to be compatible with these operating systems (Linux, Unix, etc.)?

I have an HP LaserJet 1012, but it only operates on Windows & Mac.

Anyone have any feedback?

For this business it is probably unnecessary. If you don't know you need it, you probably don't.

Nope it is not imp as all printers are capable of working with all the Operating systems. All you need is the drivers to install
