Loan Agent/ Lender !

Are anyone out there having the same problem as me, when I get to the borrower's home, they say, we were told an attorney would be doing the signing.

You can politely say that your state doesn't require an atty to attend or have the borrower call his/her loan officer to discuss.

I've had two lately, from different sources. The first one I called the contractor to ask whether we should wait or not. Not. Borrower had even had me move my car to provide room for the Atty. The second one, the instructions indicated that there was an attorney on call(borrower did think she'd be there)...we did end up needing to call her. It was nice being able to get SOMEONE/ANYONE in an after hours situation. But, in the end it didn't help - papers had to be redrawn.
