Loan Docs Rec'd Cut Off...

At the bottom.

I received an assignment from Lenders First on a refi today and the docs seemed to be cutting off at the bottom when I printed them (although I printed them on legal). It appears that when LF scanned them in their system was set up at letter size because when I view all of their pdf pages they are cut off too. My signing is tomorrow and I am unable to contact the Lender. Has anyone ever experienced this before. Sounds as though I should have reviewed the docs before printing...

Also, any bad experiences with this company...? They are my first.

I had that problem for awhile. But then I found that if when I get the print dialog box up, check Print to Image, everything seems to come out okay. Hope this helps.

Did you make sure you changed your printer settings to legal? I have done that before, put legal paper in, but forget to change the settings... that will cut some off... Other than that? Not sure.. good luck !

If it looks cut off in the viewer then most likely they were scanned that way. A PDF should print exactly the way it appears in the viewer. If the viewer is wrong the print will be wrong. You should have reviewed the documents, but that sounds like something that should be caught before it gets you.

Thanks... This is exactly what happened. I called the lender to let them know that the docs were initially scanned in on 8.5x11 instead of legal. That was the problem. Not only that... There was another loan mixed in with this assignment as well. They resent me the docs but I had only 2 hours to get them printed and signed. I did fine but next time I will have to charge them an additional fee. This was my first time.
Thanks again!
