Nationwide
I just received an email from Nationwide saying they have an immediate need for Closing Agents in my area. You must have 2 years of industry related experience. I wrote back and said I did not have the experience they require and tried talk them into giving me a shot but no luck.. I have the email if anyone in the area wants to send them their information.. I am in Ventura County, just on the border of LA County California.

There are several companies with "Nationwide" ...
... in their names. Which one contacted you? If you'd like to give us the email address that would be appreciated. TIA!

Susan,
They are an EXCELLENT Company. Their pay is very good and no hassles in faxbacks. If you have done over 100 closings.... you should try to get in with them.

When I signed up with them there was a test attached to the package I had to complete.

Paul,
I wrote her back and told her all about myself and did a great sales pitch but she seemed pretty set on the 2 years experience. I will keep trying, maybe she will need someone and give me a try when everyone else is busy. She won't be sorry. Thanks for the info!

Susan,
I appreciate that you have received some pretty informative responses, but you also might want to do a search - try using NASCO.
I agree with what others have said; major drawback is their trip fee is pretty puny ($30 bucks). I speak from personal experience; made a fairly long trip; nice people, but they decided they just didn't want to sign; and it was a home equity loan, a small package.
By the way, I don't have two years experience, and I signed up with them. And yes, there is a test.

I get full fee for No signs from Nasco. I had one that was 2 hours away that I had to go to twice, but it was a no sign on each trip. My fee was 125 for each trip and I was paid my full fee for both trips
