I did one for them in early March and have not yet been paid but, it's not quite 30 days since I did the signing.

They are a $50 company. They called me last night, for a signing, told me what they paid; I told them my fee, and the lady said, "We are only a signing Service"! Said, thanks, but no thanks.

But again thats me.

SS: "We are only a signing service!"

SA: "I am only a <Certified> Professional Notary Signing Agent!"

Normally I would not tell a price and company in same post, this but I want to make a point about saturation for new people. You've heard Happy and PAW's story. Here's mine.

Got a call for an eDoc signing. It was 6 miles over and I told them I had an appointment.

That night, they called me back. By then, my appointment had cancelled and I was semi-looking to do something fun at the appointed time. I quoted them $100. And, they said "no problem,"

You'll get the docs tomorrow.

I received the documents and it was 15 pages. I called them back and told them I had to change the price. I lowered it to $65--one notarization. I was there and back in 35 minutes.

I think they are great...but I am not in FL. If I were, I bet things might not be the same.

Saturation makes all the difference in the world.

Wish I had given your reply- Paul. Didn't think that quick. Will next time though.

I simply told her, "I was past that stage a long time ago- Thanks but no thanks".

If the gal had said, its only " x" number of pages, and in your zip code- yes we could have nogiated- but some of these S/S are so anxious to move on, and find someone right off the top of there head to say "Yes- I'm available", then they hang up real quick, before price comes up- or what type package it is- single or piggy back- or E-Mail docs or overnight. (That is what she was about to do with me)

Do not S/S outfits train their "Find a Notary" callers in proper call techniques, or do they train them to do just this? (Sounds like they hire former telephone marketers, who don't let you get a word in edgewise)

Brenda- believe your right, when the market is "over saturated" they can, at impulse just ckick you off, and go on to the next on the list.
