Property Management

Hi everyone,

Since I know that this board is quite diverse in the notaries that frequent it I wanted to ask you guys if anyone on here has any experience in property management. My husband is interested in entering the real estate business and has been pondering the property management side of the business.

Does any one here has experience in this area (resources, experience needed, money to be made, competitiveness of business, etc..) that I may be able to pass on to him as he continues to make this decision? Thanks in advance for your responses!

Might I suggest that you try this first, www.propertymanagement.com and then do some searches on google.

I am a resident manager and from what I have seen of the property managers, they make enough money to live in nice places and drive nice cars, but I know they have their headaches. It would also depend on the portfolios you have, HUD properties pay well to manage, but there are also alopt of slum lords out there who can cause alot of problems.
