Revocable Trust Settlor...who signs?

Can someone please tell me who signs as the Revocable Trust Settlor?

"By signing below, the undersigned, settlor(s) of the John Doe and Jane Dow Revocable Trust, under trust instrument dated _____ acknowledges all of the terms and covenents contained in this Security Instrument and any rider(s) thereto and agrees to be bound thereby.

Settlor is the trustee, or the person who signed the trust.

Not quite Correct

The Settlor is the one who transfers the property to the trust
It is the former owner of the propoerty
May or may not be the trustee
Usually the Settlor, Trustee and Bwr (in the case of a personal trust, )are the same person, and would be signing this document, but not necessarily
The trustee may be a third person, a Bank, an atty, etc
