Slow start this month

The telephone has been dead since 4/1 had one call and turned it down. Hope things pick up this week.

I hate/love the begining of the month. Time for catch up or a getaway, then you look at the bills and your checking account..ugh

I avg 3-4 signings per day so fri-mon is alot of lost income for me.

I just got my first call just now for a signing on Wednesday. I usually start getting calls about 8:00am on Monday morning. It is dead. I was also depressed when the mail came and no checks. All my February signings are still outstanding. I got a check on Saturday for a signing I did 3/22, so what takes so long.

I don't usually get calls on Mondays, let alone beginning of the month. I figure on Mondays, SS companies just begin to get orders in. I do my heaviest marketing on Mondays and out of 25 emails today, 4 came back with an "out of office" auto respond.

However.....got I received 2 jobs today!

Monday and it is a busy one for me. One signing this morning and 2 this evening, but Friday was dead for me, so it varies. No checks here either :(

I think this month is starting out pretty decent,had 5 call today and 6 on Fri.Sure hated to turn them down,but just had surgery and will be off for 6 weeks hope I don't lose all work. Has anyone else had to be off for this amount of time? And if so how did it affect your bussiness?

I am from the Bay Area. I am a notary, but I am currently working on a full-time assignment. I am planning on starting to work as a NSA and I am glad to read that many NSA from California are getting a lot of calls for signings. I hope this is the case with the Bay Area too:-)
