They asked if I carry white out!!!!!!!

Did a grand deed and Change of ownership last night. Mailing address on both had fiscal address not PO box which would mean borrowers would never receive it as they live in a rural area with no mail delivery. Borrower called they were told to ask notary if she had white out.
I nearly fell off the chair.

haha Al. I didn't know what a cracker was until I lived here for a few years. In fact I had no idea I was cocation(spelled wrong I'm sure, spell check came up with cocaine )and was surprised it mattered when I went to a dentist office. Lived in many countries but was never put in a group as cocation or (cracker) lol until I came here.

My typing is so bad I go thru a bottle a month. Only trouble with white out is it come off my desk top screen easily, but is a bear on my laptop screen.

We kept white out at the recording counter when I worked for the Register of Deeds.
Nothing in Michigan's laws say white-out is not acceptable.

My own new Deed I got last week had correction tape

You made me laugh! I got my Deed, for another house we just bought, in the mail last week and the title company used correction to correct the name on the Deed. I was totally shocked, it was recorded.

This could affect your sale of the property.
Use of white out or correction tape invalidates the notarization.
