To All Notaries.....STOP THE COMPLAINING

I think that we should all ban together and stop bad mouthing other notaries on forums and web sites such as these. I think that this business is a great business to make either extra money or an incredible full-time venture. Its all you notaries that complain and gripe and moan and groan that make the industry bad for everyone else. Do your job! Stop complaining! Stop bad mouthing each other! The ONLY reason we should use these forums is to keep each other informed about the companies out there that don't pay. Otherwise....keep the remarks to yourself. One who bad mouths others... makes himself look the worse. Get it together people!

I agree that we should stop complaining and act professional. It seems crazy to attack another SA for being unprofessional. What do you think attaching another SA makes you seem like to all of us reading this forum? Let's try to be helpful, encouraging and provide information to each oher. There are other forums for people who want to attach, provoke, make fun of and insult each other. Maybe you can find a chat room for that type of behavior. Thanks.

I am a new Notary, and I could not believe how many whiners there are out there. I have busted my rump for over 15 years working as assistants and coordinators and various other office positions. I would sit all day and Notarize documents for employers ALL DAY LONG, and get treated and paid terribly. I am so thankful I have taken the opportunity to get out on my own, and basically be my own boss. It sounds to me like a bunch big baby whiners complaining, and will never be happy, that is why they are also attacking other's. Just skip over the negative posts, because there are way more positive posts to read. Sad thing is one negative post ruins it for everyone. I was intimidated to post anything for long time due to the rude remarks I read. PEACE BE WITH YOU ALWAYS!

I really like this message board as there is some valuable information on it. But when doing research for a question that you have, it's so time consuming finding actual ANSWERS to the question when you have to weed through all the other posts. You never know which post is the real answer and which is the other.

Sadly even those folks have a right to whine, complain and share their thoughts however negative or positive they may be. It's called freedom of speech. It has at times caused me to become disenchanted quickly with the message board. However with that said I have obtained some helpful hints and information, after getting through all the nonsense. I don't think you will ever stop the less then positive writers/ thinkers. It's the way of the world, be happy you are one of the more positive ones and tend to see the glass half full instead of half empty.

Their are those that post only negative -- everyone knows who they are. I've come to the conclusion that it is a way to weed out their competition (sick as it may seem). These people come on here and bad mouth this one and that one, with many different complaints. After awhile you pick up on what they are doing.

What an ignorant and wildly self centered thing to say.

I really really want to believe that this post is a very very very dry humored response to It's Me 123's post below, but I have a feeling it isn't.

What's making the industry "bad for everyone else" are the numerous signing agents who are accepting jobs while having NO idea how to do this job properly. The title companies and signing services don't care about the messages on this board, they care about the mistakes that they are seeing that are causing delays in funding their loans. They care about the signing agents who accept edoc assignments when they don't even have the capability to print them properly.

There is a lot more information to be gained from this board than just which companies don't pay. I was already pretty knowledgeable about the job when I discovered the board, yet I've still managed to learn a TON of stuff. Grow up and start paying attention to what's being said, not just the way we're saying it. You might learn some stuff too.

To limit the scope of this board and others to only which SS pays and which doesn't..takes away most purposes for which the board was created in the first place.

Payment issues should be a part of this board. But, so should a lot of other stuff.

I agree with Calinotary. He is right on about mistakes from notaries dragging down the rest of us. He is also correct about limiting the topic of this board to payment issues.

This board and others are learning tools. And, there's a lot to learn. One never stops.

And, as far a rude comments and answers...hey, if you dealing with the public in any capacity whatsoever you're going to get uncomplimentary comments. And, you'll get that on these boards, too.

Those who want to "clean it up" are well-intentioned. But, human nature is human nature and you're "whistling Dixie" if you think it's going to happen.

Here we go again...complain complain complain. Can't you all just get along with each other and be helpful. I, was bullied into a bad situation on this board and I stayed away for awhile. It's embarrassing to come here and ask a simple question only to be shunned and told you should know this answer and we're not telling. That's really sad. If a SA knows the answer then whey come to this board and ask it. Get along people. You waste more energy being angry and bitter than being kind and friendly to those in need.
