Witness Acknowledgement

Anyone familiar with this form ?? It's from Ocean Bank
One Home Loan Plaza, Suite 3
Warwick, Rhode Island

Its for the closing thur usp&a which I had about in the previous message.
This is what it says

This will serve to acknowledge that on the 14th day of April, 2005,
_______________________________________________________
Executed in my presence an orginal Promissory Note in Favor of Ocean
Bank, F.S.B. to secure the orginal prinicipal amount of
$____________________, a copy of which is attached hereto and
made part hereof.

Sign and print name
(Notary Public Signature )

It is what it says it is. That you witnessed the borrower execute the note for some amount. You sign and print your name. That's it. There is nothing to notarize. (I cross out the "Notary Public" and write in "Signing Agent", since this is not an official duty of a notary public.)
