premiere membership

Anyone suggest this type membership here, rather than the free one?

What do you do to get jobs....if someone is looking for Notary, sees your profile on a site, but then sees you are new w/ no experience....what are the chances of them picking you, and how do you get the jobs?

Sorry I am new and have alot of questions !!

THAT IS PRETTY MUCH THE PROBLEM WITH PAYING FOR MEMBERSHIP WHEN YOU ARE NEW. I AM STILL RELATIVELY NEW AND I PAID FOR THE PREMIER MEMBERSHIP AND I ONLY GOT ONE CALL FROM ANOTHER SS. SO YOU MAKE THE CALL.

will I started out with the free membership and only got one call from an ss and that job cancelled before I even got the confirmation.

I upgraded to the Primier membership and went from 17 hits up to 148 I think that was the last number I had. I have received 35 jobs from this site.

I think it's worth it.

ps they told me not to type in caps that is considered yelling.

If I get one good signing out of paying membership somewhere, then it is worth the membership fee, that company will probably use me again, so it would turn out to be more than one signing from the listing.

When I go to renew my membership in any of the sites I check to see if I have received any business because of it.

I have a premiere membership here, and haven't received any calls to my knowledge from my listing here. But it is still worth the membership here, as it helps support Harry and Tracy and I get a discounted price on the MoJo and other supplies.

Hi Saphire, I am relatively new to the industry. (3 months) I have been a notary for over a year, but a document signing notary for just a few months. I posted here, signed up for the premiere membership, also put that i was new on my profile and to date i have done 14 signings. I make sure that i tell the ss that i am new, or how many signings i have done and I do have repeat customers. If you treat people with dignity and respect, they will call you back. While i have made a few mistakes, I have also learned from them. For me, the 39 bucks was and still is worth it. I will suggest that you go the the search button to look for what kind of equipment you will need (laser printer, dsl, copier, fax etc) so that you are aware, and can get the knowledge us newbies need. And if you have any questions you dont have answered feel free to email me. I will do the best i can to answer the question, and if i cant then we will research it some more. Welcome to notary rotary! laura

Laura: I understand your exictement at making $39.00 for doing a signing. Can you understand the frustration of those of us that have 10 or 20 or 30 years of experience in seeing you give away our life blood ? Many of us have been through hell and high water to develop our business and create a career only to see those of your ilk come along and undermine our primary source of income. Please....please...either raise your price to match all of our expectations or go get a job waiting tables so as not to ruin our long sought after careers. I'm saying this in the kindest way I can think of without blowing my top !!

PA Notary,
apparently i wasnt clear on what the 39 bucks was for. I believe Saphire was asking if the money spent on a premiere membership was worth the money. A premiere membership costs $39.00. I thought i had told her that the $39.00 i had spent on the premiere membership was worth the money. I charge more than $39.00 to do a signing, relax!

I did not pay for premier because I am the only notary in my area (County).

Thumbs up for Premiere membership!

I have received many calls due to my Premier Membership in Notary Rotary. If there were a membership level above Premier, I'd buy it in a heartbeat to show support for Harry!
