Affidavit of Title Question
I need advice on notarizing an affidavit of title.
The page includes numbers 1-9 with items such as improvements, liens or encumbrances, child support & survey. That's all good & fine, but #9 worries me.
#9. Identification Verification Affidavit. I, _______do hereby verify that I have viewed proof of identification on the parties listed below.
It the gives a place to record proof of borrower's id along with borrower's signatures.
This document is supposed to be notarized but my concern is that my name is inserted into #9 and I'm notarizing my own name. Is it legal to notarize this document? Any advice appreciated.

It depends on exactly how the doc is set up.
Where is the venue located? If it's after item #9, and before the notary section and the correct notartial wording is there, then I would look at is as all I'm doing is notarizing the acknowledgement/jurat section and my name is outside that section.
