American United

Just wanted to send out a heads up. We work hard for our money and I don't want anyone to not get paid because I didn't share my experience. I don't know if this is the norm for them - I am just sharing what I experienced. American United out of Fort Myers, FL called me with 2 hours notice and I was happy to do it. No payment and absolutely no courtesy in responding to my polite requests for payment. Just putting it out there for your consideraton -

Disregard - just got contacted

I just got a response. They were apologetic and explained the check was in the mail. Advised me it was not the norm and it wouldn't happen again. Not sure why they did not respond to my prior requests - but I accept their explanation and appreciate the acknowledgement to my requests. Had they responded earlier - I wouldn't have shared my experience thus causing skepticism amongst the ranks. Sorry to have intruded on your time.

I was told the same thing......

The other day I called and told her that I needed to know when to expect payment before I contact the title company and lender. I was told the check was being mailed out that night. Yesterday I received an e-mail with the check no. If I do not get the check by Friday I will contact the title company.
