Invoice and signing date 7/6/05. $75.00

I have faxed a request for payment three times, 7/25, 8/2 and again today. I called them last week and was told "There is nothing in Accounts Payable so the check must have gone out."

THAT IS A BIG LIE, AND THEY KNOW IT IS A LIE.

Somehow I think I'd rather stay at home, save my gasoline, phone charges, paper and toner, etc. then work for deadbeats like these guys who stiff the notary to increase their profits at our expense.

I did a closing for them on 8/4. I hope this isn't going to be another company I have to chase for my money.

I also did a signing for them on 7/7/05 and I havent start the calling just yet, since I read some place that their payment schedule is like 60days.

My first invoice was paid in 34 days. It's now 48 days and counting on the second invoice.

Do you suppose that someone at Ameristar would really look at their records and check why payments take so long since the notary keeps sending in invoice copies with polite notes asking for the payment status. Nope, they would rather say "The check is in the mail."

I've only done one for them and it was close to 60 days before I was paid.

I started working with Ameristar in June. I was told they pay on the 15th the following month. I received payment for June 07/25 (check dated 7/20) and is expecting July payment for 9 signings this week.

I did a signing 7/5/05 and was told the checks are going in the mail today. The woman I spoke with actually checked to make sure there was a check made out to me.

I have done several, and they seem to pay on the 15th following the closing...which I noticed makes them about 30-45 days...depending on date of signing/closing.
