Did anyone else get a call from NREIS?

asking if they had an office to conduct signings? Any idea why they would call me and ask?

They ask if you have an office because ...

... some borrowers don't want anyone coming to their homes.

Today, for example, I had a borrower who did not want her housemate to know that she is getting a mortgage. I didn't ask, and she didn't say why.

I believe this is an IREP thing. Any borrower not wanting to meet you at home can always do so at a mutually agreeable neutral location.
