Dishonored Check Notice

Does anyone know if there is a letter on line to send to a person who has issued an NSF check? I have tried endering NSF check in search but only came up with forms to pay for, which I am willing to do if I can't find it elsewhere. This is for a personal issue and not from any signing company

Take it to your local DA's office

Your local DA probably has an office set up to just handle bad checks, i know they do here in FL. Good luck!

In PA if it is under $200. take it to the local majistrate. Over visit the local Police and file charges. Actually just did that myself. Had to visit the PA State Police as I live in the country. I got paid...seems that threat of criminal charges have a good effect

This is a state by state issue and the laws will be different for each. Don't rush straight to the DA's office unless you have presented the check the number of times your state allows FIRST. In my state, I can present the check 3 times, then proceed with other remedies for collection, which include seeking treble damages, etc. Also, DA's have TONS of these to deal with, so you might be better off pursuing small claims on your own.
