EDocs Quetion
Hi - I've tried to search this site before asking but couldn't quite find what I was looking for. I'm trying to get set up to accept E-Docs. Have HP LaserJet 3015 which is PCL capable. I've got DSL and an email address. Do I need anything else to accept docs? How does the process work? Does the company just email them to me or is there some other software I need or website I should be aware of?
I also tried following the instructions on post #44429 (e-docs practice). I downloaded mrgpclindex and followed all the steps descriped, but nothing printed when I went to print the testfile. Don't know if this is just old and not working anymore, or if I'm missing something.
Any help would be greatly appreciated. THANK YOU! Tara, California

Tara, Some docs will be e-mail pdf attachments. Some companies send you a link for you to pull the docs off their site -- for those you will need a sofware program such as Swiftview, etc. The software can usually be downloaded from their site.
I don't know what you downloaded to try the test print, but I believe that (PAW) Paul_FL has posted before that he has created a small document that you can download and test your printer. If he doesn't come forward, you can search for posts from him and click his profile to contact him.

Usualy they send them in a pdf file, and you just open and print.
