EOM Fees

I think just on general principal with the stuff that goes down of month end day I am going to increase my fees for the EOM day only. I know it's hard on everyone on these days right on down the line, but geez.

Teasa,

I agree with you 100 percent. Yes, and today is that day !! I would increase your fees by like $25 bucks. It is a premium day, and it only comes once a month. Now if you have ongoing title company clients that might well be a different matter.

I wouldn't increase fees for T/C or Lender DIRECT business on signings that schedule for EOM in advance. I would quote higher fees though, for the same-day squeeze-me-in-please ones.

If I were two or three people instead of only one (well, there are days when I feel like the Gemini that I am ... but technically doesn't count) - I could've done SO MUCH BIZ yesterday, had 5 urgent calls for IMMEDIATE signings ("can you do one right now in X city?") I'm wondering if there will be some spill-over into next week, for MI anyway.

Hi Renee,

I would think if there were some spillover to next week it would be signings that involve either second homes or investment property - situations where there is no right to rescind.

Other than those situations, you might get some calls where you are asked to back date.
