Fax

Has anyone been asked to fax back an entire 115 page loan package back to the title company before dropping the docs?

Were you asked to fax back the entire package? If so, I'd be turning the signing down. There isn't enough money in the world to convince me to do that.

It's called "we're not going to be doing business!"

It's called overkill! I sure wouldn't fax a whole package back! They couldn't pay me enough... (well maybe for $100 extra) Wouldn't that take about 30 minutes? What if it isn't toll free?

Quality control? I think faxing back the whole package is overkill, even for QC. If the TC wants to verify that notarizations are done correctly, then ask for the notarizations to be faxed back. If they are concerned that the notary isn't doing their job as a signing agent correctly then the TC either needs to a) hire an agent who has experience or b) arrange for the borrower to come into the office to sign.

Faxing back an entire package sounds like the company is trying to get a full copy of the docs for their own file for free.
